No. 12 Florida 98, Arkansas 68: Erving Walker snapped out of his scoring slump with a career-high 31 points, as the hot-shooting Gators handed the Razorbacks their first home loss of the season.

Walker had scored just 14 points in his past three games, but shot eight-for-11 from the field and hit five three-pointers to lead Florida (21-6, 9-3 SEC). The Gators shot a season-high 59.6 percent from the field and finished 13-for-23 from three-point range, remaining three games behind first-place Kentucky in the SEC.

Arkansas (17-10, 5-7 SEC) started the day 17-0 at Bud Walton Arena this season. Florida led 8-7 five minutes in, then smothered the Razorbacks with a 19-4 run. Walker scored the final eight points of the surge and his three-pointer with 10:25 left in the first half gave the Gators a 27-11 advantage.

Kenny Boynton, the SEC’s third-leading scorer at 17.2 points, scored 25 points for Florida. Bradley Beal added 21 points. The Gators have won nine of their past 11 games.

BJ Young scored a career-high 31 points to lead Arkansas, which has lost four of its past five.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Florida’s Will Yeguete returned after missing the past two games with a concussion... Walker, whose previous career high of 27 came against Arkansas last season, started the day averaging 11.7 points... The Razorbacks shot 18-for-29 from the free-throw line... Florida outrebounded the Razorbacks 38-21.
