Big 12 player of the year Marcus Morris had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Oklahoma State's Jean-Paul Olukemi missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer, allowing top-seeded Kansas to escape with a 63-62 win in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament on Thursday at Sprint Center.

The Cowboys (19-13) led by as many as eight and had a 41-35 advantage at halftime. The lead went back and forth throughout the second half, and it was tied at 60 with less than two minutes left, but the Jayhawks (30-2) moved ahead for good on Mario Little's three-point play with 1:10 left.

The Cowboys had a chance to win it on the final possession, but Olukemi had to settle for an off-balance shot from 3-point range, and it was well off the mark.

Brady Morningstar scored 11 points, and Markieff Morris added 10 for Kansas.

Keiton Page scored 23 points to lead Oklahoma State, and Olukemi added 17 off the bench.
