Pelicans 111, Nuggets 107 (OT): Anthony Davis matched a career high with 32 points to go with 17 rebounds and six blocked shots as host New Orleans recorded its third consecutive victory.

Tyreke Evans added 20 points, including six during New Orleans’ decisive 9-0 run in overtime. Anthony Morrow tallied 14 points, including a 15-footer with 0.9 seconds left in regulation to force the extra session.

Kenneth Faried had 22 points and 14 rebounds for Denver, which had a two-game winning streak halted. Ty Lawson had 15 points and 12 assists, Aaron Brooks also scored 15 points and Wilson Chandler had 14.

Denver trailed by seven with under eight minutes remaining in regulation before Brooks scored eight points during a 13-1 burst that gave the Nuggets a 90-85 lead with 4:39 to play. Morrow drained the big shot to keep the Pelicans alive and Davis hit two tiebreaking free throws with 1:22 left in overtime to put New Orleans ahead to stay.

The Nuggets led 54-43 at halftime before New Orleans made 12-of-18 shots in the third quarter and rallied to tie the score at 73 entering the fourth. Austin Rivers scored five points during a 7-0 burst to start the fourth to give the Pelicans a seven-point edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Rivers scored 13 points for the Pelicans while J.J. Hickson added 12 points and nine rebounds for Denver. … The double-double was the 50th for Davis, who is in his second NBA season. … The sloppy contest featured 51 turnovers – including 27 by the Nuggets.
