Pacers 106, Knicks 99:
Lance Stephenson scored a career-high 25 points and added 10 rebounds as host Indiana knocked off New York to advance to the Eastern Conference finals.

Paul George scored 23 points and Roy Hibbert added 21 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for the third-seeded Pacers, who took the semifinals 4-2 and will next face the top-seeded Miami Heat.

Carmelo Anthony scored 39 points and Iman Shumpert went 5-of-6 from 3-point range en route to scoring 19 for the Knicks.

Second-seeded New York grabbed a 92-90 lead on J.R. Smith’s 3-pointer with 5:43 left but went 3:29 without scoring as Indiana took control. Stephenson scored nine points during an 11-2 burst before George Hill and Sam Young combined to go 5-for-6 from the free throw line in the final minute to seal it.

The Pacers led by as many as 12 points in the third quarter but the Knicks got back into it by getting hot from long range. Shumpert hit three 3-pointers in a row and Smith banged home another to cap a 12-2 run and knot it at 72.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Knicks C Tyson Chandler fouled out with 3:12 left. He scored two points on 1-of-4 shooting and grabbed six rebounds in 23 minutes. … Hill (concussion) was a game-time decision but started and scored 12 points despite struggling to 2-of-10 from the floor. … The Pacers attempted 46 free throws (making 34) while New York went 18-for-18 from the line.
