Spurs 90, 76ers 85: Tim Duncan collected 24 points and 17 rebounds and Tony Parker added 20 points and eight assists as visiting San Antonio picked up its fifth straight win.

Kawhi Leonard scored 16 points and Tiago Splitter chipped in 10 and 12 rebounds for the Spurs, who have won three straight on the road after dropping seven of their previous nine.

Evan Turner recorded 18 points 12 rebounds and seven assists, Spencer Hawes scored 16 and Jrue Holiday added 15 as Philadelphia failed to secure back-to-back victories.

The Spurs held a 49-35 edge at the half and were still up 71-59 before Turner scored five quick points in the final minute of the quarter to send it to the final period 71-64. The 76ers held that momentum through the stoppage and began the fourth with a 16-4 burst that put them up 82-75 with under four minutes to play.

Duncan stopped the bleeding with a jumper and Leonard scored five straight points, knotting it at 82-82 on a 3-pointer with 2:25 remaining. Duncan’s baseline jumper gave San Antonio back the lead and Parker scored five points in the final 1:02 to close it out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 76ers were without G Jason Richardson (knee) and C Kwame Brown (sinus infection). … Philadelphia has not won back-to-back games since a three-game winning streak from Nov. 25-30. … The Spurs, who own the best home record in the NBA at 18-2, improved to 15-9 on the road.
