Tayshaun Prince scored 22 points and Greg Monroe added a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons snapped a four-game slide with a 92-82 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Friday.

Tracy McGrady chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds and Ben Gordon scored 11 for the Pistons, who won their first game since starting guard Rodney Stuckey went down with a shoulder injury late last month.

Detroit scored the first five points of the game and never trailed, holding the Nets off during the first half before pulling away after the break.

Leading 48-44 at the half, the Pistons came out of the locker room and ripped off an 8-0 burst to push the lead to double-digits. New Jersey would cut it down to 66-61 after Kris Humphries dunked with 1:55 left in the third, but the Pistons closed the quarter with a 6-2 surge to regain control.

A half court alley-oop pass from Prince to McGrady made it 88-76 with 3:12 left and Detroit was able to coast to the finish.

Anthony Morrow scored 22 points and Brook Lopez finished with 16 for New Jersey.
