Steve Nash had 23 points and 16 assists and Vince Carter also scored 23 points to help the Phoenix Suns to a 118-109 overtime victory over the visiting New Jersey Nets on Wednesday.

Channing Frye added 21 points as Phoenix (16-21) rallied from a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit. The Suns outscored the Nets, 43-19, over the last 14-plus minutes.

New Jersey led, 90-75, early in the fourth quarter before Phoenix scored 11 consecutive points. Nash’s basket put the Suns ahead with 23 seconds left before New Jersey’s Kris Humphries scored with 16 ticks remaining to force the extra session.

Frye had a dunk that gave the Suns the lead for good at 107-106 with 3:19 to go in overtime.

Jared Dudley scored 15 points and Robin Lopez added 11 for the Suns, who made 35-of-42 free throws. Nash sank all 11 of his attempts to overtake Mark Price as the NBA's all-time leader at 90.4 percent.

Sasha Vujacic made five 3-pointers and scored 19 points for New Jersey (10-28), which has lost six straight road games. Humphries and Brook Lopez each scored 16 points and Devin Harris added 15 and 15 assists.
