Danny Santana homered and had three RBIs, Nomar Mazara also went deep and the visiting Texas Rangers recorded a 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday afternoon.

Elvis Andrus added four hits, two RBIs and two stolen bases for the Rangers, who avoided being swept in the three-game series. Texas finished its road trip at 3-6 and completed its season series with Toronto at 3-3.

Texas starter Kolby Allard (1-0) allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.

Toronto starter Sean Reid-Foley (2-3) allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and as many strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.

The Rangers scored once in the second inning, taking advantage of a leadoff double by Mazara that dropped in front of left fielder Derek Fisher. Mazara took third on Isiah Kiner-Falefa's single and scored on a single by Delino DeShields.

The Rangers added three runs in the fourth inning.

Kiner-Falefa and DeShields started the inning with walks. Kiner-Falefa stole second and took third on Jose Trevino's flyout.

Buddy Boshers entered for Reid-Foley, and DeShields stole second before Shin-Soo Choo struck out. Santana hit a two-run double, and Andrus followed with an RBI single against Zack Godley.

The Blue Jays scored in the bottom of the fourth inning, with Randal Grichuk leading off with a triple to right field.

With one out, Rowdy Tellez was hit by a pitch and was forced at second on Brandon Drury's grounder to shortstop as Grichuk scored.

Godley allowed a run in the sixth inning.

Choo walked, and Santana forced him at second with a grounder to first. Then, Andrus hit an RBI double to the right field corner to give Texas a 5-1 lead.

Emmanuel Clase replaced Allard with two out and runners at the corners in the sixth inning. His wild pitch allowed Teoscar Hernandez to score from third. Danny Jansen followed with an RBI single.

Neil Ramirez allowed Mazara's 17th homer in the seventh and Santana's 19th homer in the eighth.

Rafael Montero was perfect in the seventh and eighth with four strikeouts for the Rangers.

Jose Leclerc struck out three and pitched around a walk in the bottom of the ninth.
