PHOENIX -- Washington right-hander Stephen Strasburg, pretty much untouchable all season, is still unbeatable on the road.

Strasburg won his major league-leading 15th game while improving to 8-0 in nine road starts as the Nationals pounded out a season-high 19 hits in a 14-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday at Chase Field.

"You can't let geography change the way you pitch," Strasburg said. "Just try to do what I am capable of doing, and that's competing. Hitting my spots. Just execute."

Strasburg (15-1) gave up one run on three hits in six innings and tied his career high for season victories set in 2012, his first full season. He is 8-0 with a 1.70 ERA in nine road outings.

Daniel Murphy, Wilson Ramos and Strasburg had three hits apiece for the Nationals (62-44), who scored six runs in the first two innings while breaking a two-game losing streak. They have won four of six.

Murphy and Bryce Harper scored three runs and Anthony Rendon drove in three. Harper singled and walked twice.

"Everybody contributed," Nationals manager Dusty Baker said.

"We have some guys hopefully heating up. I know a lot of people say why don't you save some runs for tomorrow. But I'm trying to hope that they memorize how to do that."

Murphy had two singles, a double and a walk before being replaced by a pinch-runner in the fifth inning. He had not started the previous two games because of hamstring soreness.

Murphy scored in his first three plate appearances and drove in a run with his double for a 9-1 lead in the fifth inning. He has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games and leads the National League with a .355 batting average and a 1.021 OPS.

Strasburg struck out six and walked two. He also had three singles and an RBI.

"'Stras' was unbelievable again," Murphy said. "Those are not always the easiest games to throw.

"He's consistently given us a chance to win every single start, and that is probably underselling what he has done for us this year. He pounds the zone, goes deep into ball games, works fast. He's really helped set the tone for the pitching staff."

Jean Segura doubled and scored in the first inning for Arizona (43-63), which has lost four of six and 15 of 20. The D-backs, 17-36 at home, have given up 14 runs in each of their last two games.

Segura is the first player in franchise history to have 30 hits in each of the first four months of the season.

Nationals pinch-hitter Wilmer Difo had a two-run double and Trea Turner had a two-run triple to cap a four-run eighth inning.

"A great reflection of our offense tonight," Murphy said. "Everybody got a piece of it tonight. I don't think we gave any at-bats away."

Arizona right-hander Archie Bradley (4-7) gave up 12 hits and eight runs (seven runs), all career highs, in 3 1/3 innings.

The Nationals batted around in the first inning, when Rendon's sacrifice fly and two-out singles by Ramos, Clint Robinson and Danny Espinosa made it 4-0.

Segura doubled and scored on two groundouts in the last of the first inning to make it 4-1, but that was a close as Arizona got.

"It was one of those outings you can think what went wrong and why, and then just end up losing your mind," Bradley said. "You really toss that one out the window and move on."

NOTES: Nationals 1B Ryan Zimmerman was held out of the starting lineup after getting hit by a pitch in the left wrist during the ninth inning Sunday. X-rays were negative.
