Orioles 5, Rangers 2: Steve Pearce went 4-for-5 with two RBIs as host Baltimore completed a sweep of the four-game series.

Nick Hundley recorded two hits, two runs and an RBI while Adam Jones and Chris Davis each drove in a run for the Orioles, who wrapped up a 7-4 homestand. Pearce also scored a run and stole two bases, Wei-Yin Chen (8-3) improved to 4-0 in four career starts against Texas by allowing two runs and six hits in six innings and Zach Britton worked around a leadoff double in the ninth for his 12th save.

Shin-Soo Choo homered and Carlos Pena registered an RBI for the Rangers, who have lost nine straight on the road and 13 of 15 overall. Elvis Andrus collected three hits and Scott Baker (0-2) yielded three runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 frames while making a spot start in place of Yu Darvish, who was pushed back a day in the rotation.

Baltimore grabbed the lead in the third inning, when Hundley led off with a double and scored on Pearce's single two batters later. Texas answered in its next at-bat, as Adrian Beltre opened the fourth with a base hit and moved to third on Chris Gimenez's double before coming home on a groundout by Pena.

Choo put the Rangers ahead an inning later with a one-out solo shot to left-center field on an 0-1 pitch, but the Orioles erased the deficit in the bottom half as Hundley and Pearce delivered RBI doubles for a 3-2 edge. Jones lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh and Davis added a run-scoring single later in the frame to create breathing room.
