Orioles 11, Blue Jays 4: Chris Davis and Adam Jones each went 2-for-5 with three RBIs as visiting Baltimore cruised in the rubber match of its three-game series with Toronto.

David Lough had three of Baltimore's 14 hits and scored three times while Jonathan Schoop added a solo homer for the Orioles, who scored nine runs in the seventh and eighth innings combined to break open a close game. Bud Norris (1-2) was the lucky recipient of Baltimore's late offensive burst, allowing three runs on five hits while fanning four over six innings.

Colby Rasmus hit a two-run homer and Dioner Navarro added a solo shot in a three-run second for the Blue Jays, while starter Drew Hutchison allowed two runs on six hits while racking up nine strikeouts in six frames. Brett Cecil (0-1) absorbed the loss, allowing all four hitters he faced to reach base.

Navarro's leadoff blast into the first deck in right-center field opened the scoring, and Rasmus followed three batters later with a two-run shot to nearly the exact same spot. Schoop put Baltimore on the board in the fifth, drilling a line-drive shot into the fifth row of seats in left for his second career home run, and the Orioles tacked on another run on Davis' single to left that plated Lough.

A decision to walk Nelson Cruz intentionally and load the bases for Davis ultimately backfired on the Blue Jays in the seventh. Davis' two-run single against the shift ignited Baltimore's five-run inning, and Cruz and Jones each added two-run singles in a four-run eighth that put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Manager John Gibbons suggested prior to the game that the Blue Jays may consider using six starters during a stretch of 20 consecutive games April 29-May 18. ... Cruz, who had two hits, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs, finished 6-for-13 with three homers and 10 RBIs in the series. ... Toronto continues its six-game homestand Friday night against the Boston Red Sox while Baltimore opens a weekend set against the visiting Kansas City Royals.
