Adrian Beltre, Mike Napoli and Nelson Cruz hit back-to-back-to-back homers Tuesday to lead the Texas Rangers to a 10-3 rout of the host Los Angeles Angels.

The three blasts in the fifth inning off Jerome Williams were part of a five-homer game for Texas, which has won five straight games.

The Rangers remain one game in front of the Detroit Tigers for the second-best record in the American League and home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Napoli hit his second homer of the game in the seventh and Ian Kinsler also went deep. Kinsler also stole his 30th base in the fourth inning to become just the 11th player with multiple 30-homer, 30-steal seasons. Kinsler also had a 30-30 campaign in 2009.

Colby Lewis (14-10) gave up two runs and three hits in six innings for the Rangers, who have won 13 of 15 games and matched the franchise record for wins (95) in a season.

Beltre and Kinsler each had three of Texas’ 15 hits. Michael Young went 2-for-5 and is batting .338, five points behind AL batting leader Miguel Cabrera of Detroit.

Tyler Chatwood (6-11) gave up four runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings. Chatwood drew the start when the Angels decided Tuesday that Ervin Santana and Jered Weaver (Wednesday) would be held out of their final starts after Los Angeles was eliminated from the wild-card race Monday.
