Nyjer Morgan's sacrifice fly plated Gabe Kottaras with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning, lifting Milwaukee to a 2-1 victory and a series sweep of Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon.

Kottaras reached on a one-out single against Chris Resop (3-4) and moved to third base on a double by Casey McGehee. Morgan then lifted the first pitch deep to right field to lift the Brewers to their eighth victory in as many games this year against the Pirates and their 16th win in the last 18 games overall.

The Pirates had loaded the bases with two out in the top of the 10th against Takashi Saito (3-1), but the Brewers got Xavier Paul at the plate on a fielder's choice to end the threat.

Charlie Morton held the Brewers scoreless for 7 1/3 innings, allowing just four hits and a pair of walks, but he was charged with a run after the leadoff single he allowed in the eighth became the tying run on Ryan Braun's RBI base hit.

Milwaukee starter Shaun Marcum lasted 7 2/3 innings, giving up one run on five hits while striking out five and walking two. He left a pair of runners on base for LaTroy Hawkins, who retired Neil Walker on a groundout to end the eighth inning.

Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a ground-rule RBI double by Andrew McCutchen.
