Former Maple Leaf van Riemsdyk tucked in the rebound from Ivan Provorov's shot at 5:29 for his second goal of the season. Danforth followed with his first of the season on a 23-foot wrist shot through the five-hole after a turnover by Toronto defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

Columbus took a 4-0 lead at 5:35 of the second period on Monahan's third goal of the season off a rebound of Marchenko's shot on a three-on-two.

Zachary Aston-Reese circled behind the net and passed in front to Olivier, who scored his third of the season at 11:36 of the second.
