Ducks 3, Avalanche 2 (OT): Nick Bonino converted a pass from Devante Smith-Pelly at the right side of the crease 1:33 into overtime as host Anaheim rallied in Teemu Selanne's final regular-season game.

Patrick Maroon and Saku Koivu also tallied for the Pacific Division-champion Ducks, who will open their first-round playoff series against Dallas on Wednesday. Defenseman Sami Vatanen notched two assists and John Gibson made 29 saves as Anaheim ended the regular season with a four-game winning streak.

Blue-liner Stefan Elliott scored in his season debut and Brad Malone also tallied for the Avalanche, who clinched the Central with St. Louis' loss earlier Sunday and will host Minnesota in Game 1 of their series on Thursday. Former Duck Jean-Sebastien Giguere turned aside 33 shots.

Colorado opened the scoring at 12:11 of the first period, when Malone banged in the puck at the right post. The goal originally was waved off as the referee believed Malone pushed Gibson's pad over the goal line, but video review showed the puck went in on his initial shot attempt.

Elliott made it 2-0 with 1:09 remaining in the second period, when he whacked a loose puck in the slot past Gibson, but Maroon halved the deficit 1:41 into the third. Koivu tied it at 4:54 by taking a pass by Vatanen from the outer edge of the right faceoff circle and skating across the top of the slot before slipping a backhander around Giguere.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Selanne was congratulated by the Avalanche players one-by-one before taking a lap around the ice with former teammate Giguere, to the delight of the fans at Honda Center. ... Colorado D Nate Guenin appeared in his 100th NHL game. ... Anaheim rested D Francois Beauchemin, RW Corey Perry and C Ryan Getzlaf as the game had no bearing on the team's playoff position. ... With Getzlaf scratched, Selanne served as the Ducks' captain. ... The Avalanche captured the 11th division title in franchise history, nine of which were won in Colorado - most recently in 2002-03.
