Senators 2, Devils 0: Craig Anderson made 33 saves and Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored his first career goal as visiting Ottawa won its second straight contest despite mustering just 11 shots.
Milan Michalek also tallied while playing in his first game since March 8 for the Senators, who completed a three-game season sweep of reeling New Jersey. Ottawa moved within one point of provincial-rival Toronto for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
Martin Brodeur finished with nine saves for the Devils, who saw their winless stretch extend to nine games (0-5-4) and remained four points behind the eighth-place New York Rangers. New Jersey's winless streak is one shy of a franchise high, which was set in 1983.
Anderson recorded his first win since returning from an 18-game absence with an ankle injury. The netminder highlighted his 22nd career shutout - and third in 2013 - by stopping 14 shots in the second period.
After notching an assist in his NHL debut on Thursday, Pageau provided Anderson all the offense he would need 3:08 into the second period. Pageau worked the puck out of the corner before deflecting Colin Greening's shot past Brodeur. Michalek added insurance just 3:44 later by converting a 2-on-0 rush with captain Daniel Alfredsson.
