The Jayhawks (8-1, 2-0 Big 12) netted a season-high 16 3s, including four from Jalen Wilson, who added 17 points.

All five Kansas starters scored in double figures, combining for all but four of the Jayhawks' points. David McCormack and Ochai Agbaji each posted double-doubles. McCormack contributed 10 points and 11 boards, while Agbaji added 11 and 10. Marcus Garrett scored 15 points.

West Virginia (7-2, 1-1) remained winless all-time (0-9) in Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas extended its homecourt winning streak to 13.

The lone blemishes each team carried into the matchup came against top-ranked Gonzaga.

Kansas finished 16 of 37 from behind the arc and distributed the ball well, recording 19 assists on 28 makes. Despite being outsized, the Jayhawks forged a 40-37 advantage on the glass and managed a 25-14 edge in second-chance points.

Wilson keyed an 11-0 run that gave Kansas a 60-47 lead with 10:47 remaining. Braun, who added a game-high seven assists, netted two 3s at the 9:05 and 8:46 marks to solidify the Jayhawks' command after they trailed early in the second half.

Sean McNeil scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Mountaineers, while Miles McBride added 19.

McNeil topped his career-best of 16 points in the first half, netting 20 points on 6-for-6 shooting from 3-point range. His deep trey banked in at the end of the half to give West Virginia a 36-35 lead at the break after coming in as a 30% shooter from behind the arc.

McBride added nine first-half points for the Mountaineers, who led for just 18 seconds of the half.

The Jayhawks got off to a 13-4 lead and were led by Braun with 10 first-half points. They allowed the Mountaineers a 9-0 run to end the half.
