No. 7 Gonzaga 88, Loyola Marymount 43: Gary Bell Jr. scored 15 points on five 3-pointers and Kelly Olynyk also had 15 points as the visiting Bulldogs routed the Lions in West Coast Conference play.
Drew Barham and Sam Dower added 13 points apiece as Gonzaga (20-2, 7-0 WCC) went 13-for-21 from 3-point range while winning for the 11th time in 12 games.
Anthony Ireland scored 19 points and made five 3-pointers for Loyola Marymount (8-13, 1-7), which shot just 25 percent from the field while losing its fifth straight game.
Gonzaga rolled off 10 consecutive points for a quick 13-3 lead. The Lions were within 22-16 on Ireland’s basket midway through the first half before Bell hit three 3-pointers during a 15-0 run to boost the lead to 21. The Zags led 46-18 at the break.
The rout continued in the second half and Gonzaga’s lead reached 69-32 on a 3-pointer by David Stockton with 7:37 remaining. The Bulldogs led by as many as 47 in the final minutes.
