Draymond Green had 16 points and 10 rebounds, pacing Michigan State to a 90-81 win over Lehigh at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center.

Michigan State (11-2) won its 11th straight game and improved to 10-3 all-time versus Patriot League opponents.

Lehigh (9-4) had a three-game winning streak snapped and drops to 0-8 versus Top-25 opponents since the 1996-97 season.

Michigan State put up 55 points in the final 20 minutes and got double figures from four players. The Spartans had nine players score, getting 19 points from Keith Appling and 14 points from Branden Dawson.

The Spartans came out flat, allowing Lehigh to knock down open shots from beyond the arc in the first half. The Mountain Hawks buried 5-of-10 3-point attempts in the opening half, taking a 38-35 lead into the break.

Lehigh forward Holden Greiner was a matchup nightmare for Michigan State, scoring with his back to the basket and stretching the defense with his outside shooting. He led the Mountain Hawks with 24 points and brought Lehigh to within six points in the closing seconds of the game.

Spartans coach Tom Izzo made some halftime adjustments, getting his team to close out quicker on the Lehigh shooters and play with their heels above the 3-point arc. Michigan State allowed just three buckets from outside in the second half.

Lehigh turned the ball over 14 times and was dominated on the glass by a physical Spartans frontcourt, getting outrebounded 48-29 – 22 of those coming on the offensive glass.
