Suns 95, 76ers 89: Luis Scola had 21 points and nine assists while Goran Dragic scored 20 points as Phoenix began a three-game homestand by snapping its six-game losing streak.
Shannon Brown contributed 12 points off the bench and Marcin Gortat recorded 11 and 14 rebounds for the Suns, who have won five of seven at home.
Philadelphia's Jrue Holiday recorded a triple-double with a team-high 16 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. Thaddeus Young added 14 points and 10 boards while Dorell Wright also scored 14 points for the 76ers, who fell to 2-4 on a season-high eight-game road trip despite having six players score in double figures.
Phoenix took the lead when Dragic's 3-pointer with 3:57 remaining in the first quarter made it 20-18 and didn't relinquish it until Lavoy Allen tied the game at 35-35 with a jumper with 6:50 left in the second. Wright and Nick Young buried 3-pointers 26 seconds apart to put Philadelphia ahead and Jason Richardson converted a layup just before the buzzer to give the 76ers a 49-48 advantage at the half.
Scola scored 14 of his team's 27 third-quarter points as the Suns carried a 75-66 lead into the fourth, and the forward opened the final period with a jump shot to give Phoenix its biggest lead of the night. A 7-2 burst got the 76ers within 87-75 with 2:19 to play, but Phoenix scored six of the next eight points to regain control.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Suns made three of four 3-point attempts in the first quarter but were 0-for-9 the rest of the way. ... The 76ers have lost nine of their last 11 road games. ... Thaddeus Young has scored in double figures in 23 consecutive contests, the longest run by a Sixer since Andre Iguodala's 24-game streak from Nov. 13-Dec. 31, 2009.
