Carmelo Anthony scored 36 points and the Denver Nuggets turned the tables on the visiting Indiana Pacers with a 121-107 victory on Sunday.

Anthony made six 3-baskets as Denver (25-18) shot 55 percent from 3-point range in avenging the Pacers’ 144-113 victory on Nov. 9.

Tyler Hansbrough had a career-best 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Indiana (16-25) lost its fifth consecutive contest.

The Pacers scored a franchise-record 54 third-quarter points and were 20-of-21 shooting in the quarter while routing the Nuggets in the earlier meeting.

Indiana’s Mike Dunleavy and Darren Collison combined for 15 points on 5-of-16 shooting Sunday after totaling 60 points in the November contest.

Al Harrington scored 16 points and Nene had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Denver. Ty Lawson with 13 points and Chauncey Billups with 12 also scored in double figures for the Nuggets.

Anthony was 6-of-8 from 3-point range and had eight rebounds. The Nuggets were 11-of-20 from behind the arc.

Paul George added 17 points off the bench for Indiana. Pacers leading scorer Danny Granger had just eight points on 2-of-10 shooting.
