Vladimir Guerrero hit a solo homer for the second consecutive game and the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the visiting Philadelphia Phillies 4-0 on Saturday night in Dunedin, Fla.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. had an RBI double and Reese McGuire added an RBI single to set up a rubber match in the three-game series on Sunday afternoon.
Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper, who struck out twice, left the game in the middle of the fourth inning. The club said it was because of right shoulder soreness, and he is being listed as day to day.
Blue Jays starter Anthony Kay allowed one hit, two walks and hit a batter in four scoreless innings. The left-hander struck out six.
Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola (3-3) allowed three runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out eight in 6 2/3 innings.
Guerrero hit his 10th homer of the season with two out in the first inning.
Cavan Biggio led off the second with a single and scored on a double by Gurriel, who took third as shortstop Nick Maton mishandled the throw from the outfield for an error. With the infield playing in, McGuire grounded an RBI single to right.
Nola overcame two singles in the fourth and two more hits in the fifth.
Travis Bergen (2-0) pitched around an infield single in the fifth inning for Toronto, and A.J. Cole allowed a two-out single in the sixth.

Nola left after retiring the first two batters in the bottom of the seventh. Matt Moore got the final out.
Chatwood pitched around an eighth-inning double.
Randal Grichuk doubled against Moore in the eighth and scored on an error by Segura, who dropped Gurriel's two-out pop fly.
