Didi Gregorius went 5-for-5 with seven RBIs and scored the winning run in the 10th inning as the New York Yankees rallied for a wild 14-12 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night in Minneapolis.

Gregorius had a three-run homer and two two-run doubles. He singled with one out in the 10th off reliever Kohl Stewart (2-2), advanced to second on a bloop single by Austin Romine and then scored the winning run on a single by Gleyber Torres. Romine later scored the final run on a wild pitch.

Aaron Hicks, who made a game-saving diving grab on a bases-loaded liner by Max Kepler in the gap in left-center to end the game, hit a two-run homer in the ninth. Aaron Judge went 3-for-6 with two doubles and two RBIs for New York, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Hicks, Torres, Edwin Encarnacion, Luke Voit and Mike Tauchman each had two hits for New York, which finished with 20 hits.

Aroldis Chapman (3-2), despite walking three batters and allowing the tying run to score in the bottom of the ninth, picked up the victory. Chad Green, who came in with the bases loaded and two outs in the 10th after Adam Ottavino issued three walks, earned his first save thanks to Hicks' diving grab.

Miguel Sano hit two home runs, including a 457-foot two-run shot off Zack Britton in the bottom of the eighth to give Minnesota an 11-10 lead, and drove in five runs. Jorge Polanco went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and three RBIs for the Twins.

Hicks hit his 11th home run of the season with two outs in the top of the ninth off Taylor Rogers to put the Yankees, who had earlier rallied from an 8-2 deficit, in front 12-11.

The Twins came back to tie it in the bottom half when Chapman started the inning by walking Ehire Adrianza, Mitch Garver and Kepler to load the bases. Polanco followed with a sacrifice fly, but Chapman rebounded to get Nelson Cruz to fly out and Eddie Rosario to pop out to end the threat.

Sano belted a three-run homer to highlight a five-run fourth inning for the Twins. The Twins increased their major-league-best homer total to 191.

Gregorius lined a three-run homer in the fifth inning, his sixth of the season and 100th of his career.
