Angels 10, Rangers 7: Mike Trout had a pair of doubles and drove in four runs as visiting Los Angeles completed its first-ever four-game sweep of Texas.

Albert Pujols had a run-scoring double among his three hits and Josh Hamilton and Efrén Navarro each had two hits and an RBI to lift the Angels to their fifth consecutive win and send the reeling Rangers to their eighth straight defeat. Tyler Skaggs (5-5) earned the victory despite giving up six runs on seven hits in five-plus frames while Joe Smith got the final three outs for his 15th save.

Alex Rios had two hits with three RBIs and Dan Robertson had a pair of hits and scored twice for the Rangers, who head into the All-Star break with the worst record in the majors after losing for the 22nd time in 25 games. Scott Baker (0-3) was knocked around for five runs on nine hits in four innings as Texas fell to 0-15 this season in games in which he appeared.

Trout looped a double to left-center to plate three runs in the second for a 3-1 edge, but Rios doubled home a pair in a three-run third to tie it at 4-4. Los Angeles opened an 8-4 lead through 5 1/2 innings, getting run-scoring doubles from Trout and Navarro and sacrifice flies by David Freese and Hamilton.

Rookie Jake Smolinski singled home Rios as Texas scored twice in the sixth before Rougned Odor tripled in the seventh and scored on Leonys Martin's groundout to pull the Rangers within 8-7. Pujols delivered a two-out double in the eighth and Chris Iannetta singled home a run in the ninth, allowing the Angels to match the franchise record for most wins (57) at the All-Star break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Trout became the first Angels player with at least 22 homers and 70 RBIs by the All-Star break since Vladimir Guerrero in 2004. ... Rangers 3B Adrian Beltre finished the first half of the season by hitting safely in 21 of his last 23 games. ... Angels OF Collin Cowgill was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday and will require surgery after sustaining a facial fracture and fractured right thumb when he was struck in the face while attempting to bunt in Saturday night's game.
