No. 12 Oklahoma State 97, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 63: Markel Brown and Phil Forte scored 22 points apiece as the host Cowboys pulled away in the second half.
Marcus Smart added 16 points and Le'Bryan Nash chipped in nine points and eight rebounds for Oklahoma State (3-0) which has won its first three games by a combined 142 points. The Cowboys hit 10-of-25 from 3-point range with Forte knocking down 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Tevin Hammond scored 15 to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-1), which committed 18 turnovers and has 59 through three contests. DeAndre McIntyre and DaVon Haynes added 13 apiece for the Golden Lions.
The Cowboys were sluggish at the outset and fell behind 12-11 on Hammond's 3-pointer with 13:39 left in the half. Oklahoma State quickly regained the lead on Brown's 3, and Smart and Brown combined for a 10-0 run to help the Cowboys take control.
Oklahoma State led 46-30 at halftime and opened it up by turning up the defense, holding the Golden Lions scoreless for nearly six minutes while reeling off a 19-0 spurt.
