Arkansas 86, Delaware State 51: Sophomore guard BJ Young continued his torrid play with 19 points as the host Razorbacks won their fifth straight.
Young shot 8-of-9 from the field and has poured in 81 points over his last four games. Anthlon Bell added 12 points on 4-of-6 3-point shooting for Arkansas (9-4). The Razorbacks led 43-18 at halftime in their final non-conference tuneup before Wednesday’s SEC opener at Texas A&M.
Delaware State (6-9) got 13 points from Casey Walker and 10 from Tahj Tate.
The Razorbacks, who came in ranked seventh nationally in scoring, topped 80 points for the seventh time this season. They hit 10-of-19 from beyond the 3-point arc, while the Hornets were 5-of-18.
Arkansas shot 58.2 percent from the field overall.
