No. 15 Missouri 91, Alcorn State 54: Phil Pressey scored a game-high 21 points and Earnest Ross and Alex Oriakhi posted double-doubles to help the Tigers shake off a poor-shooting first half and rout the visiting Braves.
Missouri (2-0) shot just 23.1 percent from the field in the first half and led 30-23 at halftime, but the Tigers heated up after the break and scored 61 points in the second.
Ross had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Oriakhi added 12 points and 10 boards for the Tigers. Laurence Bowers scored all of his 14 points in the second half.
LeAntwan Luckett scored 14 and Anthony Nieves added 13 for the Braves (1-1), who shot 30.6 percent from the field.
