Khris Middleton came through when it mattered to lead No. 13 Texas A&M to a 91-89 overtime win over No. 12 Missouri on Saturday in College Station, Texas.
Middleton scored 15 points in the first half, disappeared in the second, but then dropped 11 in overtime. He finished with 28 points and seven rebounds.
The Aggies extended their win streak to 13 and won their seventh straight against the Tigers.
Missouri (15-3, 1-2 Big 12) had its chances, but couldn't overcome poor shot selection and a costly turnover in the final minute of overtime. The Tigers also hit just 9-of-19 free throws, despite shooting over 50 percent from the field.
Texas A&M (16-1, 3-0 Big 12) trailed 11-2, but stormed back with a 22-6 run to end the first half and go on top 40-33.
The Aggies took their first lead, 32-31, on a bizarre three-point play. David Loubeau missed a two-handed dunk, but the ball bounced higher than the backboard, hit the front rim and fell in. Lobeau hit the free throw to put A&M ahead.
Missouri freshman point guard Phil Pressey scored 16 points after the break and Ricardo Ratliffe scored 19 points for the Tigers on 9-of-11 shooting.
