Michigan got plenty of different contributors on offense, led by Evan Smotrycz, in a 69-50 victory over Bowling Green in the Legends Classic on Thursday.
The Wolverines (2-0) got scoring from 12 different players, including 14 by Smotrycz and 12 from Jordan Morgan. Darius Morris added 11 assists for the Wolverines.
Michigan led 39-31 at the break and put the game away with an 11-1 run to start the second half to take a 50-32 lead with 13 minutes to play. The Wolverines locked down the Falcons on the defensive end and maintained their lead throughout the rest of the game.
Bowling Green (1-2) shot just 29.6 percent (16-of-54) from the field and made only 2-of-13 three-pointers.
A'uston Calhoun scored 16 points and Dee Brown added 12 to lead the Falcons.
