LSU 80, Mississippi State 68: Charles Carmouche made 5-of-8 from 3-point range and scored 21 points as the Tigers handed the visiting Bulldogs their 10th straight loss.
Johnny O'Bryant III added 10 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists - his eighth double-double in the past nine games - and Andrew Del Piero had a career-high 13 points for the Tigers (15-8, 6-6 SEC). LSU shot 54.5 percent from the floor, hit 12 3-pointers and outrebounded the Bulldogs 36-20.
Craig Sword scored a career-high 25 points for the Bulldogs (7-17, 2-10), and Colin Borchert added 11.
LSU closed the first half on an 18-5 run after the Bulldogs tied the score at 23 with 7:37 left. Anthony Hickey and Andre Stringer finished the run with 3-pointers for a 41-28 halftime lead.
Carmouche hit all of his 3-pointers in the second half, including back-to-back shots from long range to push the lead to 68-49 with 7:43 left.
