Arkansas 80, No. 2 Florida 69: Sophomore guard BJ Young paced a balanced attack with 13 points and the host Razorbacks forced 16 turnovers in snapping the Gators’ 10-game win streak.
Arkansas (14-8, 5-4 SEC) hit 14 of its first 19 shots and built a 22-point lead, surprisingly cruising to its 11th straight home win. Young came off the bench for the third time in five games and led the Razorbacks, who got at least seven points from eight different players. Marshawn Powell and Michael Qualls scored 11 apiece.
Florida (18-3, 8-1 SEC) shot 7-of-24 in the first half and trailed 43-26 at the break. The Razorbacks opened the second half on a 6-0 run and were never threatened.
Mike Rosario led the Gators with 15 points, and Scottie Wilbekin added 14.
Arkansas had 19 assists against eight turnovers, and shot 8-of-18 from beyond the arc.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Florida had won the previous five meetings by an average of 19.4 points. … The Razorbacks improved to 30-4 at Bud Walton Arena under second-year coach Mike Anderson. … Florida failed in its bid to win five straight SEC road games in a season for the first time in program history.
