Todd Bertuzzi scored two goals, including the game-winner late in the third period, and Chris Osgood made 21 saves to pace the visiting Detroit Red Wings to a 5-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.
Henrik Zetterberg, Darren Helm and Kris Draper also scored for the Red Wings, who snapped a two-game slide.
After the Oilers fought back from a two-goal deficit, Bertuzzi snapped a 3-3 tie with his second of the evening at 17:10 of the third period. Helm added some insurance 44 seconds later.
Zetterberg put Detroit on the board at 3:43 of the first period from Nicklas Lidstrom and Drew Miller before Gilbert Brule tallied his fifth of the season to tie the game at the 11:38 mark.
Bertuzzi restored Detroit’s advantage at 6:40 of the second session and Draper added to the lead less than four minutes later with his third of the season.
Theo Peckham cut the deficit in the third period with his second of the season from Sam Gagner and Ales Hemsky before Gagner tallied his 10th goal at 11:31 to tie the game.
Nikolai Khabibulin made 32 saves for the Oilers.
