Brothers Makai Ashton-Langford and DeMarr Langford Jr. combined for 38 points as Boston College rallied past visiting Pittsburgh for a 69-56 win in Atlantic Coast Conference play on Sunday in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Ashton-Langford led all scorers with 21 points while Langford Jr. had 17. Quinten Post added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Boston College (9-11, 4-6 ACC), which had lost two straight and eight of its last 10 games overall.
Femi Odukale had 16 points and Jamarius Burton scored 15 to pace the Panthers. Ithiel Horton chipped in 11 points for Pittsburgh (8-13, 3-7), which has dropped three of four and six of nine overall.
It was the second meeting of the season between the Panthers and Eagles after Pittsburgh earned a narrow 69-67 home victory on Jan. 8. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday before a Boston-area blizzard resulted in a one-day postponement.
Boston College shot 44.8 percent from the floor (26-of-58) and made 7-of-21 attempts from 3-point distance (33.3 percent).
Pittsburgh shot just 35.1 percent (20-of-57), going 5-of-18 (27.8 percent) from long distance.
BC carried a 31-22 lead into halftime after falling behind by eight in the opening minutes. Pittsburgh opened the game with a 13-5 run before the Eagles came alive and ended the first half on a 26-9 surge.
The Eagles outscored the visitors 38-34 after halftime and led by as many as 22 points en route to securing a season series split.
Boston College returns to action on Tuesday night when it visits Virginia. Pittsburgh wraps up its quick two-game road trip at Wake Forest on Wednesday night.
