Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 24 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 124-108 win over the visiting Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night.

The Thunder have won four consecutive games and seven of their past eight, while the Nets have dropped three consecutive contests and eight of their past 10.

Josh Giddey added 20 points, one shy of his season high, and tied a career high with four 3-pointers.

Every Oklahoma City starter scored at least 17 points, with Chet Holmgren and Luguentz Dort each supplying 18 and Jalen Williams going for 17.

The Thunder shot 54.2 percent from the floor, their fourth consecutive game shooting 50 percent or better.

Oklahoma City was 18 of 33 from beyond the arc.

On the first possession of the second half, Williams lobbed a pass up to Holmgren, who threw down an alley-oop dunk.

Moments later, the Thunder took control with a 17-6 run to move ahead 78-67 with 5:37 left in the third quarter.

Giddey had seven points and an assist during the stretch. He ignited the surge with a trey.

The Nets struggled for the entirety of the period, going just 8-for-30 from the floor while missing 13 of 15 3-point attempts.

Mikal Bridges led Brooklyn with 22 points.

Cam Thomas, the Nets' leading scorer, came off the bench for the second consecutive game and finished with 20 points.

Brooklyn got off to a quick start, scoring the game's first eight points. The Nets soon led 18-8 after Bridges drained a 3-pointer with 7:47 remaining in the opening quarter. But the Thunder settled in after their initial struggles, thanks in large part to Gilgeous-Alexander, who had 13 first-quarter points.

Still, Brooklyn led 36-33 after 12 minutes of action, but it found itself trailing 59-56 at the break after shooting just 24.1 percent overall in the second quarter.

Gilgeous-Alexander and Bridges each had 17 points before intermission.

After pulling away in the third quarter, Oklahoma City led by as much as 21 in the fourth.
