Trae Young scored 38 points and added 11 assists as the visiting Atlanta Hawks defeated the Toronto Raptors 125-104 Friday night.

Bogdan Bogdanovic added 20 points for the Hawks, who gained a split of the two-game series and ended a five-game losing streak.

Dejounte Murray scored 17 points, Clint Capela had 18 points and 15 rebounds, Onyeka Okongwu scored 14 points and Saddiq Bey contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds for Atlanta.

Scottie Barnes posted 23 points for the Raptors, who have lost five of six. Pascal Siakam and Jakob Poeltl each scored 15 and Malachi Flynn added 11.

The Hawks, who led by as many as 24, took a nine-point lead into the fourth. Barnes cut the lead to six on a jumper with 10:32 to play.

Bogdanovic scored five straight points to increase the lead to 11. Capela's hook shot bumped the lead to 15. The lead reached 18 on Okongwu's hook shot and free throw with 7:06 to play. Young's 3-pointer got the lead to 21.

Atlanta led 30-24 after the first quarter.

The Hawks had an eight-point lead early in the second. The lead was 10 when Bey hit a 3-point shot with 1:38 remaining. Atlanta led by 12 after Murray's eight-foot jump shot. Poeltl's 12-footer completed the scoring in the first half and trimmed Atlanta's lead to 59-49.

Atlanta shot 48 percent (24-for-50) from the field in the first half with Bogdanovic scoring 15 points.

Toronto shot 53.8 percent (21-for-39) from the field in the first half, led by Poeltl's 12 points.

The Hawks led by 14 early in the third on Bey's 3-pointer. Toronto cut the lead to nine with 7:03 left in the third on a layup by Barnes after Poeltl's steal.

Precious Achiuwa made one of two free-throw attempts with 1:22 to play to cut the margin to 10. Barnes completed the third-quarter scoring with a jumper and free throw, and Atlanta led 87-78.

AJ Griffin (personal) and De'Andre Hunter (sore right knee) did not play for Atlanta.
