Bojan Bogdanovic scored 28 points to lead seven players in double figures as the Detroit Pistons rallied from an 18-point first-quarter deficit to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-104 on Saturday in Minneapolis.

Marvin Bagley III had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Saddiq Bey and Alec Burks scored 13 points apiece, and Hamidou Diallo added 12 for Detroit, which trailed by 14 at the half before Bogdanovic scored 17 points in the third quarter to help tie the game at 88-88.

Anthony Edwards scored 30 points to lead Minnesota, while D'Angelo Russell added 25 and Kyle Anderson had 12. The Wolves shot 10 of 34 (29.4 percent) from 3-point range and lost their season-high sixth straight game.

Detroit took its first lead of the game early in the fourth quarter and used a 16-4 run to move ahead 104-94 with 6:29 remaining.

Minnesota pulled within 106-102 on Rudy Gobert's dunk with 3:24 left before Detroit answered with seven straight points to seal the comeback victory.

Rodney McGruder and Cory Joseph scored 11 points apiece for the Pistons, who held the Wolves to 40 points in the second half.

Minnesota bolted to an 18-point lead and held a 39-28 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Edwards and Russell scored a combined 27 points for the Wolves, who shot 69.6 percent for the quarter.

Detroit committed 10 turnovers in the first half and trailed 64-50 at the break after Anderson hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Burks scored 10 points in the first half for Detroit, which snapped a five-game losing streak to the Wolves.

Edwards finished with seven rebounds and five assists while scoring at least 20 points for the eighth consecutive game.

Detroit played without guard Killian Hayes, who is serving a three-game suspension for his involvement in an altercation during Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic.

Gobert returned after missing one game due to a non-COVID illness and had nine points and 10 rebounds.
