Hawks 114, Lakers 100: Al Horford recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds and Paul Millsap added 18 points and nine boards as Atlanta used a big second half to down visiting Los Angeles.

Jeff Teague collected 17 points and 10 assists and Mike Scott scored 14 off the bench for the Hawks, who reclaimed their status as the Eastern Conference’s third winning team at 13-12. DeMarre Carroll chipped in 13 points and Kyle Korver had 11 as six Atlanta players reached double figures.

Kobe Bryant struggled to eight points on 4-of-14 shooting with six assists and five turnovers in his fifth game back for the Lakers. Nick Young scored 23 points off the bench while Jordan Hill collected 21 points and nine rebounds and Pau Gasol added 16 points and 10 boards.

The Lakers took a 54-47 lead into the half behind a combined 24 points and 15 rebounds from Gasol and Hill and got four more points from the duo to start the third quarter before the Hawks gained some momentum. Horford and Korver combined for 14 points during a 21-4 burst that put Atlanta on top 70-62 with just under five minutes left in the period.

The lead reached 82-71 before the Hawks settled for a nine-point lead heading into the fourth, and Louis Williams’ 3-pointer with 8:47 left pushed it to 95-80. Los Angeles got back within 108-100 with 2:37 to play but Bryant missed two shots and turned the ball over once in the final two minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Korver went 0-for-4 from the field in the first half but hit a pair of 3-pointers during the third-quarter surge and ended up 3-of-8 from beyond the arc to extend his record streak to 94 straight games with at least one 3-pointer. … Bryant has committed a total of 30 turnovers in five games and the Lakers are 1-4 since his return. … Xavier Henry added 18 points off the bench for Los Angeles.
