Trail Blazers 109, Kings 91: LaMarcus Aldridge, J.J. Hickson and Damian Lillard recorded double-doubles as Portland extended its home winning streak to six games.
Aldridge recorded a game-high 28 points and 12 rebounds, Hickson added 17 and 14 for his ninth straight double-double and Lillard chipped in 17 points and 11 assists for the Trail Blazers, who earned a split of the home-and-home series.
John Salmons scored 19 points and Isaiah Thomas added 12 off the bench for the Kings, who fell to 1-12 on the road.
Salmons' layup with 2:11 remaining in the first quarter gave Sacramento its only lead of the game at 24-23. Portland carried a five-point advantage into the second and, after Travis Outlaw's tip-in with 8:05 left forged a 37-37 tie, moved ahead for good on a three-point play by Meyers Leonard with 7:16 to play in the first half.
The Trail Blazers closed the second quarter with a 12-2 run to increase their lead to 18 points. Portland led by as many as 26 in the third and coasted in the fourth en route to its ninth win in 10 home games.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Sacramento used a 15-3 run to get within 98-85 with 5:39 remaining in the fourth quarter. ...
