Bucks 117, Hornets 113: Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis had 22 points and nine assists apiece as host Milwaukee held on for its third straight victory.

Mike Dunleavy contributed 17 points and nine rebounds while Samuel Dalembert added 15 and eight for the Bucks, who won for just the second time in 13 meetings with the Hornets.

Rookie Anthony Davis scored a game-high 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Ryan Anderson scored 20 points and Greivis Vasquez chipped in 13 and 11 boards for New Orleans, which has lost three in a row.

Down by four with 8:52 remaining in the second quarter, Milwaukee went on a 17-3 run to take a 48-38 lead. Dunleavy (six) and Marquis Daniels (five) combined for 11 points during the burst.

New Orleans answered with a 20-8 spurt for a 58-56 edge, and the lead changed numerous times until a 3-pointer by Jennings with 9:50 left in the fourth put the Bucks ahead for good. Anderson's 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds to play got the Hornets within two, but Ellis sank a pair of free throws with 3.7 remaining to seal the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dunleavy was 5-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. ... Davis made 10 of 14 shots after going 6-of-21 over his previous two games. ... The Bucks have scored at least 60 points in the first half in each of their last three contests.
