Dwyane Wade had a game-high 26 points and LeBron James added 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to help the Miami Heat win their ninth consecutive game over the Philadelphia 76ers, 99-79 on Friday.
Wade and James led the Heat down the stretch after Miami was held to 16 points in the third quarter. The Heat built a four-point lead at the half, but missed their first 10 field goals of the second half.
Philadelphia couldn't capitalize on Miami's poor shooting, as the teams combined to start the third quarter 1 for 18 from the field.
Andre Iguodala energized the home crowd in the third quarter when he went coast-to-coast to throw down a one-handed highlight reel dunk to pull the Sixers within two points.
Miami took back the momentum in the fourth quarter when James found Mike Miller for a deep 3-pointer, part of a 13-3 Miami run to put them up by eight.
Wade took over late in the fourth with two consecutive dunks to cap a 15-0 Miami run and put the game out of reach.
Thaddeus Young was the high scorer with 16 points for the Sixers, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
