Blake Griffin finished with 31 points and 13 rebounds and added a number of thunderous dunks as the Los Angeles Clippers took down the San Antonio Spurs, 90-85, on Wednesday night.
Eric Gordon added 21 points and DeAndre Jordon had 13 rebounds for the Clippers (4-15), who own the worst record in the NBA while the Spurs (15-3) enjoy the best.
Los Angeles trailed 38-30 with just over five minutes left in the first half when the game began to turn.
Rasual Butler hit three 3-pointers and Baron Davis drained another to key an 18-2 run to end the second quarter, sending the Clippers into the break with a 48-40 edge.
Griffin scored 12 points in the third quarter to keep the Spurs at bay and Gordon took over in the fourth, converting a three-point play to open the quarter and responding with a driving layup when San Antonio pulled to within five points with under four minutes left.
George Hill had 17 points off the bench and Manu Ginobili collected 15 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Spurs, who shot 36 percent from the floor.
