Troy Tulowitzki singled home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Colorado Rockies earned a 6-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday.

After Colorado closer Huston Street blew a save by allowing two runs in the top of the inning, the Rockies pulled out the victory against Brewers stopper Trevor Hoffman (2-6).

Dexter Fowler hit a one-out double and advanced to third on a Seth Smith groundout. Carlos Gonzalez drew a walk to set the stage for Tulowitzki, whose single to second base drove home Fowler with the winning run.

Tulowitzki finished with three hits, including a homer, as the Rockies took two out of three games in the series. The 25-year-old shortstop is hitting .467 (21-for-45) with two homers and 10 RBIs over his last 11 games.

Rafael Betancourt (2-1) recorded the final out in the top of the ninth inning to earn the victory. He came on in relief of Street, who was given a blown save after Clint Barmes dropped a popup, allowing George Kottaras and Craig Counsell to score the go-ahead runs.

Ian Stewart also homered for the Rockies. Prince Fielder had two RBIs and Rickie Weeks finished with four hits for the Brewers.

Colorado starter Ubaldo Jimenez allowed three runs on 10 hits over eight innings, with 10 strikeouts and just one walk. He was in line for his major league-leading 18th win before Milwaukee rallied in the ninth.

Brewers counterpart Manny Parra was charged with five runs, two earned, on six hits over five innings. He walked two and struck out six.
