Gabriel Landeskog scored three goals and Colorado Avalanche teammate Mikko Rantanen scored twice to lead the Central Division to a 10-4 win against the Pacific Division in the first semifinal at the NHL All-Star Game in San Jose on Saturday night.
The Central Division scored seven goals against Anaheim Ducks goalie John Gibson in the first 10-minute half and never trailed.
Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks also scored twice in the 3-on-3 format.
Rantanen and Landeskog each scored in the first 1:33 for a 2-0 lead.
San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson made it 2-1 with a goal in his home arena, but the Central scored the next five goals against Gibson and eight straight overall.
Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi made it 3-1 at 5:08, Kane scored at 5:09, Mark Scheifele of the Winnipeg Jets scored at 6:39, and Rantanen's second goal, at the 7:50 mark, made it 7-1 and brought out the boos from the crowd.
Kane scored once more off Gibson at 8:11, and the Central continued to have success in the second half against Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, scoring three times on nine shots.
Landeskog scored 42 seconds into the second period to make it 8-1.
Ryan O'Reilly of the St. Louis Blues scored at 2:30, and Landeskog tallied again at 4:36 for a 10-1 lead.
The Pacific scored three goals in the final six minutes, starting with Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames at the 4:47 mark.
Karlsson scored his second of the game at 5:52, and Sharks teammate Brent Burns closed out the scoring at 6:02, and hit the back of net.
Devan Dubnyk of the Minnesota Wild stopped 19 of 22 shots for the Central Division, while Predators goalie Pekka Rinne made eight saves on nine shots.
