Corey Seager homered twice to help the Texas Rangers end a six-game losing streak with a 6-2 win against the Minnesota Twins in the finale of their three-game series on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.

Nathaniel Lowe had two hits and two RBIs and Josh Smith and Leody Taveras each had two hits and a run for the Rangers, who had dropped 12 of 14.

Texas starter Gerson Garabito made his major league debut and allowed one run and two hits in 3 2/3 innings. He struck out two and walked four.

Jacob Latz (1-1) threw two scoreless innings of relief to earn his first MLB victory, and Jose Leclerc added 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief.

Minnesota starter Pablo Lopez (4-5) had his second straight poor outing, allowing six runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked one.

Carlos Correa had two hits and an RBI for the Twins, who had won four in a row.

Lopez breezed through the first two innings and got the first two outs in the third before walking Marcus Semien. Seager then turned on a curveball and lined it into the seats in right for a 2-0 lead.

It was the 11th straight game in which Texas has homered.

Adolis Garcia was hit on the knuckles by a pitch to start the fourth and Taveras lined a single just over the outstretched glove of Correa at short. Lowe then lined a single to right-center field, scoring Garcia to extend the lead to 3-0.

Twins second baseman Edouard Julien was unable to glove a line drive off the bat of Jonah Heim while playing in. He got a forceout at second, but Taveras scored from third to make it 4-0.

Garabito did not allow a hit until Correa singled to lead off the fourth. Max Kepler followed with an RBI double off the wall in right-center field to cut it to 4-1.

Seager hit the first pitch of the fifth inning over the fence in right to get the run back and make it 5-1. Seager has six home runs in the past six games.

Smith followed with a double before scoring on a two-out single by Lowe to make it 6-1.

Correa delivered an RBI double with two outs in the bottom of the fifth to cut it to 6-2.
