Seahawks 41, Vikings 20: Marshawn Lynch rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns and caught another scoring pass as Seattle beat Minnesota for its sixth win in a row and a franchise-record 13th straight victory at home.
Russell Wilson completed 13-of-18 passes to eight different receivers for 230 yards and two TDs for the Seahawks (10-1), who extended the best start in franchise history. Percy Harvin made one catch for 17 yards and had a 58-yard kickoff return against his former team in his first action since coming to Seattle in an offseason trade.
Adrian Peterson ran for 65 yards on 21 carries as the Vikings (2-8) remained winless on the road. Christian Ponder was 13-of-22 for 129 yards and a touchdown but accounted for three turnovers before he was benched in the fourth quarter, and Jarius Wright had three catches for 69 yards and two TDs, including one from Matt Cassel long after the outcome had been decided.
Lynch ran in for two short scores and Wilson found Doug Baldwin from 19 yards out with 10 seconds remaining in the first half to give Seattle a 24-13 lead at intermission. Ponder hit Wright on a 38-yard scoring pass and Blair Walsh kicked two field goals to account for Minnesota’s points.
After a scoreless third quarter, Seattle collected interceptions on three consecutive possessions to score 17 points in just over three minutes. Bobby Wagner picked off Ponder to set up Wilson’s 6-yard TD pass to Lynch, Walter Thurmond returned an interception 29 yards for a score to end Ponder’s day and Clinton McDonald stepped in front of a Cassel pass to pave the way for Steven Hauschka’s second field goal to ice it.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse suffered a concussion after taking a big hit on a kickoff return in the first quarter and did not return. … The 24 first-half points tied a season high for Seattle. … Vikings WR Jerome Simpson played despite an arrest on suspicion of drunken driving last weekend and had a 1-yard catch.
