No. 12 Arizona 70, Washington 52: Solomon Hill scored 19 points to lead four starters in double figures as the host Wildcats remained in contention for the Pac-12 title.

Mark Lyons contributed 14 points, Nick Johnson had 12 and Kaleb Tarczewski finished with 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds for Arizona (22-4, 10-4 Pac-12), which is a half-game back of first-place Oregon.

C.J. Wilcox scored 15 points, Abdul Gaddy had 12 and Shawn Kemp Jr. finished with seven points and nine rebounds for Washington (14-13, 6-8).

The Wildcats scored the last six points of the first half to take their biggest lead, 33-25. Hill scored eight of his 14 first-half points in the final 3:41.

Arizona continued to pull away in the second half, scoring 16 of the first 20 points to move ahead 49-29 with 13:52 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kevin Parrom started a second straight game for the Wildcats in place of freshman forward Brandon Ashley, but the senior was the only starter who didn’t score. Ashley scored 10 points off the bench …. Washington has lost nine straight games against ranked opponents. … Arizona backup guard Gabe York appeared for the first time in the last five games and scored three points.
