Kaylon Williams led the way with 21 points and Tony Meier added 20 on 7-of-7 shooting as visiting Milwaukee shot better than 60 percent and cruised past DePaul 87-76 on Monday.
Paris Gulley chipped in 19 points and went 5-of-5 from 3-point range for the Panthers (8-1), who have won four straight.
Milwaukee took control in the first half, using a 28-7 burst to push the lead over 20 points. Meier hit three 3-pointers during the burst and Gulley connected on two more for the Panthers, who were 8-of-14 from beyond the arc in the first half and 11-of-20 (55 percent) for the game. Meier was also 5-for-5 from 3-point range.
The Blue Demons cut it to 70-60 on Charles McKinney’s layup with 6:46 left but Gulley buried a 3-pointer and Kyle Kelm added a dunk in transition to push it back to a 15-point edge.
Milwaukee sealed it at the free throw line.
DePaul (4-3) stayed in the game in the second half thanks to Cleveland Melvin, who scored 27 points, and fellow sophomore Brandon Young, who added 20.
The Blue Demons will get a chance to bounce back against another Horizon League team when they visit Loyola on Wednesday.
