E'Twaun Moore scored a career-high 38 points to power No. 11 Purdue to a 76-63 home victory over No. 2 Ohio State on Sunday afternoon in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Boilermakers (22-5, 11-3 Big Ten) never trailed after Moore scored eight consecutive points late in the first half to give the hosts a 32-28 lead.
Ohio State made a late push, cutting a 10-point deficit to four (65-61) with 2:35 remaining, but Moore's seventh 3-pointer of the contest sparked an 11-2 run that sealed the win.
JaJuan Johnson added 13 points for Purdue, which became just the third team to score 70 or more points against the Buckeyes this season.
Jared Sullinger paced Ohio State (25-2, 12-2) with 25 points.
The Buckeyes made just 4 of 15 3-point shots — though Jon Diebler hit two to become the Big Ten's all-time leader — and were forced into 18 turnovers.
