Grizzlies 90, Pistons 78: Rudy Gay scored a game-high 18 points and Marc Gasol added 17 and 11 rebounds as host Memphis posted its 12th win in 13 games.

Mike Conley had 17 points and six steals while Darrell Arthur scored 11 points off the bench for the Grizzlies, who completed a 4-1 homestand.

Greg Monroe recorded 17 points and nine rebounds and Tayshaun Prince scored 15 points for Detroit, which fell to 1-9 on the road.

Already ahead by one point, Memphis went on a 9-0 run to increase its lead to 49-39 with 2:25 remaining in the second quarter. Detroit forged a 57-57 tie with a 12-2 burst midway through the third, but Conley's three-point play with 5:57 left put the Grizzlies in front for good.

Gay sank a jump shot with 6:18 to play in the fourth to give Memphis its biggest lead at 83-70. The Pistons never got closer than nine points, and Conley capped the scoring with his third 3-pointer of the night.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Arthur missed Memphis' victory over Toronto on Wednesday with a sore knee. ... The Grizzlies improved to 8-1 at home this season. ... The Pistons have lost six straight meetings between the teams.
