Red-hot Zach Randolph had 34 points and 17 rebounds and Rudy Gay scored 26 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 107-99 victory over the host Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.
Named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday, Randolph was 10-of-17 from the field and 14-of-17 from the line as he collected his fifth straight double-double. Gay made 10 of 13 shots as Memphis shot 52 percent from the field.
Memphis trailed by three points at halftime but outscored Detroit, 30-18, in the third quarter to take a nine-point lead into the final period. The Grizzlies held on to salvage the finale of a three-game trip.
Marc Gasol and Darrell Arthur added 10 points apiece for Memphis (18-21). Mike Conley had nine assists.
Ben Gordon scored 25 points - all in the second half - and Tracy McGrady added 16 for Detroit (12-26), which has lost five of six. Gordon scored 19 points in the final quarter as he singlehandedly kept the Pistons in the game.
Rodney Stuckey scored 15 points and rookie Greg Monroe had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons.
